I was almost drowning
the surface of the water looked so peaceful
I kept my eyes fixed on one star
My galaxy far far away
I was bleeding out
I couldn't see I was surrounded by sharks
that wore faces that I called friends
was my star reflecting in one of their eyes?
they circled around and watched me die
